Ask Dalam is a search assistant for villas and houses in Bali: long-term rentals (monthly and yearly leases) and homes for sale (leasehold and freehold). It reads property platforms, agency sites, and Facebook and Telegram groups, counts the same property posted in several places once, and shows asking prices by area and bedroom count. Searching is free.

What it covers
On 1 October 2026, 8,478 villas and houses for rent and 7,109 for sale were live across 11 areas of Bali, 3,841 of them new this week. Sources read now: agency websites and portals, Facebook groups, Facebook Marketplace, listings sent to Dalam and Telegram groups.

How the listings are kept current
- Read every day. New posts and listings come in daily. Every property platform and agency site is also read in full each week, for new listings and price changes.
- Off-market listings drop out. Each day the known listings are checked at their source. One that is gone, or marked as rented or sold, leaves search. Its page stays reachable, marked as no longer listed, and is taken out of search engine indexes.
- Duplicates are counted once. The same villa is often posted on several sites and groups. Once a week, listings that look alike are compared, and two are merged only when the bedroom count agrees and the titles or a closer check confirm it is the same place. When in doubt they stay apart, because a wrong merge would hide a real home. The most complete version is the one shown.
- Prices are asking prices. In Indonesian rupiah, as the listing states them. US dollar amounts are approximate conversions. They are not agreed prices.
Method
Area figures are medians of live listings by bedroom count and lease basis (a minimum stay of 12 months or more counts as a yearly lease) or tenure, shown only with 5 or more listings behind them and recomputed at least hourly: prices by area. The Bali Rent Index freezes one calendar month of rents on the 1st, and the guides are built on it.
